Our Facilities

New Boston Housing Authority owns and manages 190 public housing apartments and 40 USDA/Section 8 New Construction/515 apartments at four sites in the city limits of New Boston. Most of the apartments are nice bricked duplexes and quadplexes. Twelve of these 230 apartments are Section 504/handicap accessible. All apartments are on the ground level. Laundry hook-ups are in most apartments and laundry facilities are located nearby. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) subsidizes resident rent which is based on income. New Boston is located in the seat for Bowie County in rural northeast Texas just south of the Red River at the Oklahoma / Arkansas state line and twenty miles west of Texarkana, TX. A quiet place to raise families with a great school system and growing businesses.


Heath Courts Currently being remodeled for a more modern look. Expected opening is December 2008.	Oak Terrace Predominately a quiet elderly neighborhood. Has a pavilion for relaxing or fun gatherings.

Link Homes Fifty one-bedroom apartments close to shopping centers.	Corley Homes Fifty family duplexes with playground and education center.

Wortham Circle Twenty-eight USDA family apartments with laundry facilities located in a quiet area at the edge of town.	Wilson Homes Twelve USDA one-bedroom elderly apartments in a peaceful atmosphere. Great for a relaxing retirement.
