The audit must be performed according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the US Department of Agriculture / Rural Development Requirements and in accordance with OMB Circular No. A-133.

The audit must be performed at the office of the New Boston Housing Authority, 303 Rice, New Boston, TX
Previous experience with HUD audits and evidence of a Peer Review by the AICIPA within the past three years is required.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture requires that the audit be completed and submitted to the local office (Mt Pleasant, TX) within three (3) months, June 30, of the audit year end. The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requires that the audit be completed and electronically submitted to REAC prior to nine (9) months after the agency’s fiscal year end which, in our case, before 12/31 of the audit year end. The audit must comply with GAAP, A-133 and all federal and state requirements.

The proposal must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on March 31, 2008. The proposals will be evaluated and all auditor proposals will be notified of the selection.
The New Boston Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals.
FYE2007 Audit Contract price: $5,900 for both programs and $300 for submission of public housing audit to REAC.
