INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Housing Authority of the City of New Boston, Texas will receive Bids for the 2006/2007 Capital Funds Project for Heath Courts, TX054001 until 2:00 p.m., Thursday April 24, 2008 at the Housing Authority Office at 303 Rice Street, New Boston, Texas 75570, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Bids for Asbestos/Lead Base Paint Abatement to be bid by Texas Department of State Health Services licensed Abatement Contractors. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the Housing Authority office, 303 Rice, New Boston, Texas.
Proposed forms of contract documents, including Plans and Specifications, are on file at the office of Farmer and Associates, Inc., 717 South Greenville Avenue, Suite 126, Allen, Texas 75002. Phone: 972-390-8014. Contact Craig Farmer regarding bidding requirements for this abatement job.
Copies of the documents may be obtained by contacting Farmer and Associates, Inc. Contract documents are also available to subcontractors, material suppliers, etc.
Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this project. Attention is also called to the provisions of the Section 3 Policy of the Housing Authority.
The Housing Authority of the City of New Boston reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the Bidding.
No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of Bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of the City of New Boston.
